1. You need a program for capturing, i am using "FRAPS" i have upload a cracked version for you here.
2. Lets see how it works.

here is the FRAPS program:

Use the same settings as bellow:

and

remember to change the default "Video Capture Hotkey" to one that doesn't conflict with a game's shortcut, i am using the 'A' button.
You may tick the "Record sound" option if you want to record FM's sound
It is vital to tick the "No cursor" option, otherwise the cursor or a hand will appear and it doesn't look nice.
The selection of the folder that FRAPS is saving the video is up to you.

By doing these every time that i press the 'A' button the recorder starts to work and by pressing it again it stops.

tip:
remember to close FRAPS when you don't need it or you will end up with huge videos (about 4Gb each).
you will close it from the icon next to the clock, the screen with number 99 Posted Image

3. The video that is created by FRAPS is a quite big file and its not possible to upload it in youtube or somewhere else. We need a program to compress it.
Here is the VirtualDub, this program doesn't need installation all you need to do is to extract it and 'run' the VirtualDub.exe
Import your video,

Select: Video / Compression

Select the codec that you prefer, i am using DiVX

Here is my DiVX configuration

And finally select "Save as AVI..." to save the compressed video.

Now your video is ready for uploading Posted Image

Yeh, this works for games in general as that's what Fraps is.

Anyway good guide Kostis for those who don't know what to do, this is what I use to do my videos except I use visual pro, crop it and save it as wmpv or something :p
