Probably my biggest database to date, the Regional League is a fictional League in the U.A.E where the 20 regions on Football Manager are split into teams, and the countries who make up that region supply the players for each team. As the best players and managers in world football now ply their trade in the UAE, it's not recommended you use this game as a long term game where you wish to move to a team in a major European league - unless you really don't care how mixed up it is!
The Regions:
As you can see from the spoiler below, a number of the nations were particularly strong (Central Europe, UK, South America, West Africa etc...), but a number of the nations were below weak and were an absolute pain in the arse to create! I'm looking at you, Central Asia and East Africa! I tried to get 25-30 players per region but this was quite hard with a number of teams because there simply weren't 25 good enough players on the database. With a few regions they have exceeded the 30 player limit by some way just to give you a bit of choice. I've added a few of the top youngsters onto the database but as I doubt many people will get past 2 or 3 seasons on this it just wasn't worth the time in the end. Below you can see the squads, the countries that make up the regions (going by FM's word - a few don't make sense), the reputation I have given them to tie in with the quality of player, the fictional stadium they've received, also to tie into the quality of player to ensure no team goes bust and can support the wage demands. Also included below is the manager, this was quite tricky to choose in some regions as there were a number of standout candidates, but I'm happy enough to have found a manager for every region... even if the Indian guy was born in Scotland!

What's quite interesting to know is I've tested this database 5 different times, and only South America have won it more than once. UK and Ireland are perennial underachievers (atleast it's realistic, then!) and the African teams really do have some tricks up their sleeves.
EDIT - XeroX has kindly made a graphics pack for the regions database, downloadable HERE.
Example of it in game.
Cheers
