This is just to see who would be interested in having a Tactic's competition.
The rules outline have not been set yet,so it can be recreate a realistic tactic, which in my opinion will limit who enter,or just set a basic set of rules with a team to use,but it is all open for discussion if interested, put your name below,i will start.

Iwill put more details up when I get members that are interested, butbasically will be given a tactic to make with certain ground rulesand you make a tactic around that and someone will test it and do aproper write up on it,failures, improvements etc.,I failed this on FP.
Sothe rules are still to be decided until we get enough to do this.
So They can be discussed at a laterdate.

I think a good first one would be for everyone to create Barcelona's 4-3-3. Debate about it go's on for donkey years and it would be interesting to see what everyone came up with. It could be tested by seeing how closely our Barcelona tactics performed in comparison to the real life ones (would Messi still be our top performer by so much, would Xavi get 100+ passes a match etc...)

I'd be interested. BlueAngel's idea sounds a good one, lots of people interpret in different ways.

Even if it would mean a change to the intended format, I like the idea of the same 'theme' being set for everyone. In fact, that would probably keep this sort of thing going indefinitely since we'd never run out of things to try and replicate. Everyone reports back after x amount of days / weeks with how they interpret the tactics and style of play for a certain team (past or present?). We could then pool our interpretations and discuss/debate until the end product is something we agree with. Once we do, a new theme could be set after that each time. The result of this could be the creation of a "Fanboys tactics" pack as we go along.

Agreed. TT, are you going to take charge of this? I would offer to help but other than participating I don't think I could do much else with all the database stuff we have planned
.
I'd like the idea of a "master tactic" at the end of each challenge - TT (or whoever takes charge) could look at all participants and take the most frequently occurring formations, tactics etc.

We could even progress with this as the final tactic could be combined with a team guide.

This could be something I would be looking at starting a tactic comp, after release of the new game, terms and conditions to follow.

I'll join as long as the rules/deadlines etc aren't ree-deec-you-lous.
Rules will be kept as simple as possible so it allows even novices to join in, and deadlines will not be silly as I don’t get through games quickly.
I have just re-read the entire thread, what we have so far is......
Re- create a certain teams tactic, this way everybody will have there own views how that team plays.
Time scale need to agree a time aloud for this, maybe do it on a monthly basis any other thoughts please come forward and discuss.
