Ok, so what are these screen shots showing, apart from the fact Chelsea are league Champions, and they've signed an intelligent Israeli to replace a fast Englishman. Well Man City have spent lots of money, and Tottenham are entering some sort of glory years, but most importantly they are proof that we've actually gone and done some homework. So what's different about our update? Why abandon the faithful weegie update? Well for a start we just don't change stats. Its not what we do. Its not right. On the basis that SI are always right then not much can have changed in six months. Except an average left footed player from Middlesbrough is now at the world's richest club as the Future of England...

Beyond this we've done the normal stuff. Players in the right clubs, clubs in the right leagues, you know the thing. The reason this is the, *ahem*, one of the best is because of the attention to detail. Wrong kits are corrected, youngsters like Enzo Zidane & Christian Maldini are added in, and the Euro coefficients are changed, not that anyone knows what that means. Its still work in progress but rest assured, you will soon have an addition to large collection of very good updates on the scene claiming to be the best...

Now I'm not claiming that this is 100% perfect, YET. But this is the first BETA version of this update and I will be continuing to update the database over the next week. If there's something you notice that's not right please drop it in here and I'll make sure it's rectified for next week

Extract to:

My Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2010/Editor Data

Click new game in FM, then tick the database change option. Select the FMFanboys Update from the list and click continue.

Hmm, neither link is working for me.

I have just noticed one massive error though - Because Howard has created Enzo Zidane and Christian Maldini every time the editor has been saved it's duplicated the player.

I'll edit the db now and re-upload.

i cant seem to get the database to work... ive put in right place but its not coming up in my game.... i shecked the folder and its saved as a dbc file whereas the others i have are xml files.... would thischange anything?

It shouldn't do. I take it you use the disc rather than Steam?

dbc files are just compressed xml files, an xml file with 100,000+ changes would be huge so it should work no problem.

didnt use either... i digitally downloaded it from some site... and has worked fine untill today :S

i think i need to reinstall the patch first...


nevermind it works now.... me being a dumbass forgot to reinstall the patch after reinstalling thegame

I only done the transfers, but I'll check the editor later - it's the most pointless feature anyways, but if the request is there....

If you're on about the kits in the 3D view, without editing thousands of graphics you cant.

Joey said the colours have been changed thats all. For some reason some of the licsenced teams kits change on the 3d pitch for me
Edit: I already have a editor data file with all 2010/11 kit and colour changes for all english leagues (Prem to L2) I just want to know how could I import that edit into the FMFB update?
