That goalkeeper looks brilliant Matt, wouldn't be surprised about the free kick attribute, it seems quite a few goalkeepers in South America are good ate set pieces

I signed Paulo for £2M but I'll have to wait until 2014 before he arrives.

It seems like a lot of newgen GK's this year are a lot better physically younger than they are technically. Interesting.

Bought this boy for 3.4 Million pounds at the start of the 11/12 season from Roma. He's got 4.5 Potential and I play him in the Deep Lying Forward Position. Any1 got any advice as to where to play him to produce more goals?

Well a poacher will get a lot as they are pretty much out and out goal scorers - but if he has very good technical attributes then he may be wasted there. It also depends on your formation, tactics etc. As he is deep lying then he is linking the play between midfield and attack and supporting his strike partner as well as getting goals himself. To get more goals then try him on poacher - but that's all he will do - get goals and lead the line. He won't be involved in the build up play much at all. Just change his description to poacher/advanced forward etc and see how his attributes are to the recommended key attributes for the description that are highlighted.

Thanks for the reply Nev

I'm Playing a 4-1-2-1-2 Diamond and I have got Johan in the poacher role already. I tried putting him in the Poacher Role along side Johan but it didn't produce results. I want Gandola to be scoring goals, assisting goals and being the danger man for the opposition. But right now in this position he is just assisting goals, whilst Johan is scoring goals. This is not to say I am dissapointed, because Johan is second top scorer in the league and Gandola is about 6th in the assists, but somehow I want to find an equilibrium between assisting and goals for Roberto.

Will be interested to see how regens turn out on FM11 - on FM10 I found they either had good mentals or good physicals and never both which always seemed a bit poor.

I'd personally retrain him to an AMR, AML or AMC and play him as an inside forward, his finishing is low but dribbling, first touch, crossing and pace are all great, only thing that lets him down for that position is flair.

I was able to sign about 4 newgens who were all 16. Got a couple who were 17 as well. One of the 16 year olds was a goalkeeper, worth $1 million, he's going to be my back up or even my starter in about 5 years. It seems there are A LOT of Spanish newgens after the first season, a lot of retired Spanish players after a year I guess.

Got released by some American academy, lucky his second nationality was English or i would of been stuck for a work permit.

Came threw the youth system, i was shocked when i seen this kid. Perfect replacement for Ben Arfa.

Another fella that came threw my updated youth system, he's a lovely treq. also a lethal poacher.

Probably the weakest out of these, but he was released by Juventus iirc but i see potential in this kid and hopefully can take Colocini's place within the next two seasons.

Well the first one is amazing, he has plenty of potential. Worth 20M, you decide! The second one was absolutely brilliant at only three million, he has a bit more developing to do maybe than the first one although he is older. But my scouts say he is better than Denilson already. So what you guys think?
