Can't say I'm a fan - same reasons as FM-View's skin, to be honest.
The gradients and bevels aren't an improvement on what was originally there, in fact, I really dislike them.
I do like the effect you've done on the bottom bar - the colour toning - but it's far too much on the calendar and member bar too; you need contrast, because the design has all this colour on the edges, then it's just normal in the centre. If you had a neutral tone on the top two bars, it would definitely help bring the whole thing together more.
I know this is your first skin, and I absolutely don't mean to scold you, but it's just not up to scratch. You can do a lot better than this, but you've rushed it and you've failed to take your time with it, and it shows in your final product.
No offense, I know you'll take that personally, but I'd rather give you proper feedback about it, rather than say "it's okay" or some other mildly non-offensive, "I couldn't care less" remark.

No way. Everyone has their opinions - I personally like what I did. Everyone to their own though.

As a skin in its own right its very good IMHO. It personally not to my taste as its a light skin and I only use dark skins. but if a dark verion was to be released I would definately give it a go to see. Well done Xerox, good job I think.
