I'm currently Malaga in the second season and noticed At. Madrid finished 11th last season and are 13th at the moment so I'm taking a wild punt and trying to unsettle Aguero. He's responding well to my praise for him but I'm yet to declare my interest. If I have another successful season with Malaga I may well try and get the little git to me!

Do any of you use this feature?

I try sometimes, usually the players I want to unsettle will cost me a hell of a lot and it seems after I praise them etc. they demand absurdly high wages (Pastore being a prime example). I've moved on to just signing 21 year olds and under really so unsettling isn't usually needed

I do this with the bigger players, always a laugh and often quite useful.
At the moment I'm trying to get Messi to my Blackpool side. I know he's just playing hard-to-get.

Generally use it to upset players before big games, not often to sign them.

Telling a player with low composure/determination he's a threat will make him really nervous

That's plain mean!

Admittedly I'd do it to Cole and Adebayor if I thought it'd work :p

That is actually quite logical, in my next game I think I will trial that and see whether it works or not and how good/bad the player plays.

Will probably upset some of your own players though, unwise to do if some of the players have already had a poor opinion of you

Will it? They seem quite pleased when I state to the world that the opposition goalkeeper is a useless butterfingered nannyshagger and we end up winning 4-0. Posted Image I suppose if it backfires and your target has a superb game it could piss sompe people off, but you've got to be careful who you pick.

Thread revival.

Can someone help me get Gareth Bale? I've been declaring my interest a lot, going to Spurs games and making offers every so often, yet nothing is happening. Everytime I say "I want Bale" his moral goes to Very Poor and his profile says that he's "hoping he doesn't disappoint [me] with his next performance".

I don't want to pay any more than £15m for him, I feel this is reasonable. But I just can't seem to unsettle the guy. Any other tips?

Basically, you're gonna have to offer more than £15m.

I just can't bring myself to spend stupid money on players though. I reckon Spurs will want upwards of £30m for him and that's just not going to happen.

Look at buying somebody you can actually afford or rather, are willing to pay for then.
