Internationals bore me, unless it's a dual role.
How you finding managing a national only game? You not sick of all the holidaying yet?

if i'm honest no. I don't have too much time on my hands and the thought of playing as a club makes me not want to play the game. Doing good so far, done two years and I am planning to do at least 20 seasons with this save. Maybe not all as Belgium though, gonna get sacked soon i reckon.
You got a game going at the mo?

I'm managing Arsenal at the moment (went for the old 'future wonderkids' routine, but I'm sick of England tbh). I've done okay, but I just find myself bored in my second season there.
I was thinking about a French adventure tbh. Never really managed there properly.
I was going to ask how Scotland was to manage, but it will be a bit like me managing England I imagine. You do it because you know and love that league best. You bored of your home turf yet or not?

Can't say I've accumulated much game-time. I've spend ages sorting Arsenal out, so I've done a massive TWO seasons (I say two, I'm in my second), but I've spent most of my time scouting and working on formations (which was quite fun). The issue is, I barely play this game at the moment and I have got some free time to play it as well, but I just can't be arsed. I dunno if it's just boredom of my save or whether this game isn't engaging enough.
Is anyone actually bored of FM2011, or not?

SSS (Second Season Syndrome) ay? I have milked the English league for all she's worth. I still load it through habit and curiosity for the future.

Woking are my local club, and I decided before I began the game I wasn't going to move unless I was fired. When 11.3 comes out I'll probably start a new game and be more of a journeyman and move around clubs, but for this save I'm running the club well into the ground.

Pretty much yeh. The board/ FA expect me to be a world beater when the Nation begins off 62nd in the World Rankings and in pot 4 for qualification draws. I was seeded 4th for my Euro quali group and came 4th, and they're massively disappointed with this.
I, however, have a plan, a plan so cunning, or something. I have arranged friendlies against the rice pickers and farmers of this world in order to gain confidence through my players and board whilst still picking the same deluded tripe that i have at my disposal.
If this doesn't work then I'm in a stickier situation than when Mr Sticky the stick insect got stuck on a sticky bun!

Now in the second season I am joint top with Madrid and struggling in a Champions League group with Chelsea and Shakhtar. All good fun though, and Ganso is slowly settling in

Well, i have managed Manchester united in the past, won everything i possibly could with them but for some reason , i just got really bored. So i started one with motherwell (my home town) and its been a great challenge, even though i haven't won millions of trophies with a unstoppable team like my old Man utd saves, i find managing motherwell much more rewarding as the challenge is greater and more exciting. Because the scottish league isn't exactly the most prolific league in the world, its quite hard to attract players to it meaning i have to resort to signing youngsters from vague/smaller teams or free transfers, hopefully if i achieve my aim of winning the champions league within 10 years, i might be able to attract big players

I did that with Newcastle a while ago; it's rewarding for a few seasons, but when the AI gives up, it just becomes pointless. There's a massive thing in the back of your mind that you'll win 90% of games, and when you lose it doesn't matter because you know you'll win the rest.
The thing with smaller teams (I find) is that you always crave a win, and it seems like the matches could go any way. I sort of have that with Arsenal at the minute, but Man City are boring me big time and I think I've overstayed my time in England. Just need some form of inspiration really. In the past I've had great saves with Leeds, Forest Green, Grey's Athletic, Newcastle, HSV and Milan, but it's really hard to recreate them, so I need something new!

Then the second season I think I could have won the league without a Keeper was bored sensless didnt do much in Europe and won the Cup and the season opener bit to easy so I quit.
Took England job and finished 4th at the 2014 world cup in the mean time had bad spells at Forest and QPR.
Now signing on. Sorry was you looking for motivation my bad.

Good on you for quitting when things become too easy. However i think you could have pushed your Ajax team further and challenged in the Champions League for a couple of seasons at least.
What's your plans for the future, within this game?
