Is it possible to get a version of this calculator that will work with Open Office?.

It has macros, it can be converted but might incompatible, otherwise its password protected, i think for odt version will have to be rewrite for whole things.. So just ask to author.

I downloaded the schedule, but I don't know which application to open it with. When I open it with Excel, I get a bunch of Wingdings. Help!

Hi,

I was having the same problem with both versions, but I found a solution you have to get WinZip and open it through there.

Hey Pompey_Dan,

nice work on the calculators there. I tried and used both and there is something that was slightly confusing me at first. For two of my players that I configured with Individual Focus I got back that I should focus them on Off the ball and Positioning. But with the club I am using this is not an option from the drop-down box. Looking around on the net I found out that you need a club with video equipment in order to be able to select Marking, Off the Ball, and Positioning. So maybe a good idea to add a toggle box to state whether or not you have a club that supports it and based on the setting suggest these three IFs or suggest different ones if you don't have them.

I wonder if, in 4.1, it would be easily possible in Excel to add a player position and player duty dropdown box at the end of the stats row for each player. That way you only need to select the name of the player from the top-left drop down box in order to get IF training area and training stats. I mean, it's not like the position and duty will change much, right? It would definitely save a lot of extra clicking.

And I wonder why Excel is not allowing my mouse wheel to scroll the contents of the player name box.

Hope this helps!

Edit: just found out that if you select individual focus for a goalkeeper with defend, the training stats display as #N/A. If you select no individual focus, it works as expected.

Edit 2: I also found that 4.1 pushes some training schedules into the heavy category by putting some training aspects into the 25 zone. I curbed these back to 22 in order to stick to the medium category of the training.

It would be nice if you could import the team roster into the training schedule. If there is an utility that allows to export the attributes into a spreadsheet, then import that spreadsheet into the calculator that way all you need to do is select the player and his associated atributes get pulled in.

Hello! I'm new to this forum and must say I found this Excel sheet most helpful. However I have a question on filling in the attributes. How important is this? Because I tried filling in every attribute as 1 and then 10 and got the same schedule for either stat.

Works pretty fine for me. Respect DAN!!!!

but only one problem init: it tells me that my Target Man (Attack) must train with aerobic 10, Strenght 16 etc.
and when ama trying to make that settings ingame, it only makes first two atrbts and doesn't changing anymore. it means workload limit is reached.
what should i do

Hey, Pompey_Dan

Firstly, I'd like to say that your calculator is awesome. It'b been great for me, that never had understood the training options.

But I don't know how to train my youth players. When I try to create a new schedule for a player, I don't have the option to manage the schedule.

How do I emphasize the young players' specifics attributes?

That's because your player is on a part-time schedule and this tool is only for full-time schedules.
