Hey everyone. Been hearing (and seeing) a lot of people mentioning a Ganso as a great player to buy. I've genuinely never heard of him so could some kind soul post a screenie or tell me where to look for him please?

Paulo Henrique is his real name and he plays for Santos. He's called Ganso because it means 'Giraffe' in Portuguese as he has a fairly long neck.

Ahh fair enough, i've certainly heard of Paulo Henrique anyway. Not sure if it's the same one though. Will check him out anyway.

It probably will be the same one, the AMC for Santos? Costs around £20m usually, and is one of the best AMC's on the game, up there with Pastore.

A Brazilian player down to earth? I've heard is a bit cunt, I'm sure he is the guy who just walked off the pitch in a match for Santos, can't remember why though.

Well down to earth compared to Neymar and Robinho.

I just bought him for my 2nd season with Newcastle. We have played 2 games so far Sunderland at home and Porto at home (CL), no assists so far but 3 goals in the 2 matches.

Very down to earth apparently.

I remember watching a video where him & Neymar were watching the Brazilian squads be announced (think it was for their first call-ups). Neymar was running around celebrating, ran out to everyone on the training ground, whilst Paulo just gave a little smile & sat on his bean-bag.

Ganso means Goose.

They call it like that because it doesn't have anything to do with it. Odd, isn't it?

This.

But he is an incredibly close second.

Tried getting Pastore for Malaga. He was interested but i couldn't afford his fee and his wages. Went for Ganso instead and he's been great, so not too bothered about it.

I do love Pastore more when it comes to FM11 though

Ganso is cheaper then Pastore and has a wider range of clubs he comes too. So by that logic, for me Ganso>Pastore!
