What Crane Said.
I'd agree from my experiences with both, I'd prefer Ganso to Pastore personally, because I normally play formations with CM's rather than AMC's, I say that, I've catered my current formation around my best players so I'm actually playing a 4-4-2 diamond atm.

You could put Pastore at left back and he'd still manage to score a hatrick

Pastore in my opinion is better, but then again, he'd still get in any team at his peak.
How much can you get him for at the start?

From my experiences, I'd prefer Pastore. I signed Ganso for £10M at Genoa and he spent about 3 seasons at me, he had quality stats and some great games but he was never that consistent and had really dry patches where he did fuck all, each season his average rating was just above 7 and Moussa Sissoko (DM) and other players were more consistent and reliable than him, in the end I decided to cash in for a nice £30M from Inter who he is now doing amazing for

Milan bought him for 15 million (I did in another game) in my Monaco game... but that's only if you give 15 million cash plus you give a few percentages and you make the Santos Manager like you.
Unfortunately, he was born in the same generation of footballers as Hrvoje Brkić and Marko Barišić, so he's been the runner up for the past 5 years in the World Golden Ball... Although, he does make the Champions League team of the season every year, and with him, Milan have made it to the semi final in 3 years of 5. Winning twice.
Great player, I'd do anything to get to him in my Monaco game to replace Wilshere. It's just I have this policy on wages. My most paid player is paid 5.25 million a year, and he's paid 12.5. I can afford him, but I don't want to

Hey everyone. Been hearing (and seeing) a lot of people mentioning a Ganso as a great player to buy. I've genuinely never heard of him so could some kind soul post a screenie or tell me where to look for him please?
Paulo Henrique is his real name and he plays for Santos. He's called Ganso because it means 'Giraffe' in Portuguese as he has a fairly long neck.
ganso means goose, giraffe we call it girafa

A odd little fact I found in FourFourTwo:
Paulo Henrique's nickname is Ganso because when he used to be young in the Santos youth team, the kitman gave eveyone a nickname. He gave Henrique 'Ganso' because he was very good... even though being called Ganso in Brazil meant you were crap. The kitman gave it to him as a joke ('cause he knew he was awesome) but now it has stuck
