Because I'm so nice (and I want feedback on it), I've given you a semi-shiny new skin to play with. It's not too different to the IPB default, but things are a bit tidier, and you can change colours of the skin depending on how you like it, be it bright blue or retina burning yellow.

Basically, in return for keeping your eyes happy, I want a bit of feedback on what you think works well, what doesn't and what could do with a bit of improvement. I'm going to try to get the skin updated once a day/2 days max with my latest fixes and changes. I'd also like to know if you find any colours of 'base' elements that stand out like a sore thumb. I know the editor is still blue, but I think I've caught everything else.

Remember, this is only temporary until the staff here get the proper new skin up and running, so enjoy it while it lasts.

Colour changer I love, but the colours revert to normal when I click 'View New Content', possibly when I go onto every page but I don't know yet :\

Love it and the quick navigation though.

It's very sleek, and the colour changer is fuckin' bad ass. I'll report back if I see anything I don't like.

Some of the changes are quite nice; I like the navigation (I do like the default layout as well), the colour picker is nice (although I think some sites might not want people to adjust their branding) and overall it's a nice clean skin, there's nothing to dislike about it. However... It does feel too close to the original and I think if you want to sell this version, I don't imagine you'd get much interest in it because it doesn't feel like you've changed much; the skin doesn't feel different enough to the default version -- which isn't a bad thing per se, but I'd imagine if people were happy with the default skin that they'd not then buy something as close to it as this one (same with people who aren't happy with the default skin). Overall, I don't think it's bad at all, but I do think it needs a bit more of you in it; a bit more of your style below the header.

Yep, I agree with that. Still thinking about what to do with the rest of the skin, it's hard because most of my pre-3.2 designs were similar to the 3.2 default in style (remember my avatars on board/forum index over at LW?!) - I'm at a block.

I must say I am also a fan. I like the default IPB skin, you've cleaned it up a lot and made it better. One thing I can think of, on the new content page down the left you have the settings, maybe the purple background for the chosen setting could be changed with the colour changer?
