Didn't even know how to name this thread...
I have a question about Photoshop.
I wanted to place a logo (png) onanother layer, but even if both had the same height/width, the logo appears a lot smaller and I need to resize it to get it on the same level.
When I open the Image Size, the Pixel Dimension is the same, but the document size changes. How, why does this happen? I reduced both to 180x180px but the document size is different?
Is there any way to get the one with the smaller document size to the other size without losing quality (so that I don't need to transform it to 700% and lose quality)?

If you edit canvas size it resizes the background, if you change image size it resizes the whole document.
If you want to take a layer to another document, make the canvas' the same size in image-canvas size and simply duplicate the layer you wan moving to the new document. That probably doesn't help but I hope it does.

It must be because of the resolution (dpi) difference between the two images, you need to set the same dpi for both of them if you don't want to have such problems. You can check their resolution from the image>image size menu. Also opening them separately and converting them to smart objects before doing anything may help.
