Really wierd, my friend said to me this tactic is amazing for '08 but i don't have any idea about '11, so cheers for this, may I can try it.

FM08 I think it was when I had a 4-1-4-1-0 that won me the title in my first season with Liverpool, went unbeaten! Sold Torres, and bought Ageuro, and he was brilliant. Never really tried it since tbh.

See I don't appear to be getting players into the box but i'm scoring goals. Would you mind putting up your front 3 player instructions

Tbh I haven't touched the player instructions at all. I think the wing backs advancing as much as they do allows the wingers to roam inside a little more freely. At times Maxwell and Alves are ahead of Sanchez and Pedro before the ball is played from the back. Mesii is regularly drifting deep with Iniesta and Xavi passing him as the ball is played wide.

Yeah he is. Seems to be playing well enough, although I may see if I can get a few more goals out of him. How I am going to do that I don't know!

If you want I could put the tactic up for you to download, maybe it could help you sort the problem with your front three?

Made a few changes to Messi's player instructions in order to get him a few more goals, or at least pose more of a threat to the opposition.

I will try this now. I will make 3-5 variations of a tactic with no strikers, and post it up. Using different teams tho.

Use of individual training and the match preparation "attacking movement" could help improve that. Also have a look around for an "attacking" coach with a 20 rated attribut. ;)

I always sort my coaches as one of the first things I do at a club now, I'll change to attacking movement and see how it works :)

Cool, let me know how you get on.

Just uploaded some highlights from the European super cup game, it shows how my forward line are scoring so many goals. On a sour note Messi got injured after my first goal, Villa filled the gap nicely though.

Slightly decrease the tempo or increase the time wasting setting of your tactic. It always works for me.

This is a very interesting read and may even give this a go myself, see who comes with different variants, plus on a different note what strategy is every one using.

aye it's fun to experiment with but prepare to lose a few games and for a lot of 1-0's. At least that's what I found, also it's hard to get your players into the box, in the end I had to revert to classic mode and just start with a striker with an arrow coming backwards, seemed to work.

I tended to go counter but it was always between that or attacking. Fluid or very fluid.

If you want to stick as close as possible to the real life tactics it would be counter and very fluid

Don't read too much into that. It takes a while for a team to get used to a new tactic.

4-6-0 of Luciano Spalletti

Its not far away from what you present .I have create some tactics which apply theory into application .

Give a try and make your own comments .For sure 4-6-0 is the ideal tactic for fast and counter attacking football .
