I'll forward it to Rob Barnes-Graham, I know from experience that he'll help out if we ask nicely. I suppose it could be unlikely we'll get a response from higher up, but I think Miles would respond given that he's done interviews with other sites recently, and really, it's not asking a lot of him is it? Surely we'd not be taking up too much of his time to send him ideas on one occasion and see what he thinks is possible.
I guess we can just do our bit and see where the dice fall...

What key areas should they have worked on then?
Online. Online. Online.
We're using the same dated method of connecting, peer-to-peer, despite the fact this is the 21st century. You know it's embarrassing when you still use the same matchmaking system as Doom.
Miles said it's difficult because everyone has different computers or some bullshit. They use fucking steam as the de facto way of activating the game now, ergo he's a fucking liar.

Just a thought -
After making an initial bid for a player and the club in question has sent back a negotiated offer, I think negotiations should open like contracts do, with instant responses and a bit of dialogue between the clubs, as opposed to waiting days for contact again.

They've always said they wouldn't do transfers that way as it is very rare for teams have face to face meetings to sort out transfers. Dunno if that's true or not about irl transfers but that's what Miles has said .in the past.

Yeah but it's regular for clubs to be able to sell their shit players to shitter clubs and their good players to any club. Not struggle to sell their good players to shit clubs because nobody will pay out.

SI, rightly or wrongly, want to make the game as realistic as possible and in their eyes at least transfer negotiations don't take place in real time as contract discussions do. So that's why they aren't doing it.
The transfer system has lots of problems i.m.o but I don't think the back and forth is one of them.
