Kits
One which i'm sure is mentioned every year nut the 'progression of kits' so you don't end up having the same kit for 30 years, add in anniversary kits etc. I shouldn't imagine it would be too difficult either, clubs have set colour patterns and the game randomly chooses a kit from a set of templates.
The Interface
Again i'm on the whole realism topic and I have to wonder in real life would a manager have the information we are given as managers. The inbox should feel more like an inbox, the messages should read as emails and I should have to rely on talking to my staff to get some information. IMO it should be like your working a computer screen within a computer screen, maybe even a feature where you email back your scouts.
Reading through all these idea's is actually depressing as fuck. good ideas but you know if they were implemented in the game they would be buggy and frustrating as ever. E.G with the chairman negotiating deals him saying the club don't need to sign another striker because you already have 4 at the club when in reality those 4 are all over 30 and you need to replace them. You can't give too much power to the AI because it'll screw the game up

Short version:
- Takeovers provide too much of a rep boost
- Clubs have no financial sense at all, they spend, spend, spend until they are taken over and then they start it all again
- The board injecting 6m in the middle of the season every three years doesn't help and it isn't realistic. This money should come at the start of every season, the board should say 'Here's all the money we have for the coming season, here are your budgets' Then we should get given our targets(cut the wagebill, finish in the top three, etc) On top of that we'd get our other income from ticket sales, sponsorship, player sales, etc But we'd know that chances of board investment through the season would be minimal, so its our job to keep finances on the straight and narrow or within set limitations outlined by the board. So for now we can operate at a loss, but within three years that HAS to be a profit, or else.
- There needs to be change. There needs to be consequences for big spending. And there needs to be some f*cking brains put into the system.

I like the idea of having financial objectives like lowering the wage bill etc. I try to do that anyway, but I think it should be something that you have to do at less stable clubs, or if your club becomes unstable (as a consequence of you spending took much cash).

But if you have 'Director Mode' you turn off most of the tasks you have when signing a player. You'd essentially pick a player and then have the board negotiate his contract. I'm really not sure what benefit that would have as a gamer. I don't think that adds realism, as surely there's managers who negotiate contracts, whether Redknapp or Guardiola do or not. All it really does is make the game less demanding in terms of effort, but signing players is actually a fun part of playing FM; I think it would detract from the exciting process of finding a player, trying to sign him and then confirming the deal.
Last three ideas are good. The last one in particular does seem to have disappeared; I remember it being in FM07/08 and I can't say I've seen it at all in the last couple of FM games. No idea why they took it out, but I would like to have that back, at the moment chairmen seem to have no personality at all.

To be brutally honest though, I have "one of those chairmen now". I mean. He doesn't go out and say: buy this player, but I can tell, that if that was programmed into the game, that he would be "the Abramović guy". I mean, I was perfectly happy moving about with my 50 million € transfer budget (it could be raised to 300 million if I lowered the wage budget), before the Chairman of the Board comes to "my office" and says... oh, you've spent 10 million on youth prospects in the past 3 years. Here's a 100 million.
And, let's imagine that FM DID have that, where the chairman has the power to go out and just buy a player and say, here's your new player... I mean... with my Monaco save, I'd be OBSCENELY pissed off if my chairman came and brought another player in, because the squad is brilliant, and I'm barely rotating players as it is. Buying another 30, 40, or even 50 million € player would just... well be annoying. I think that I'd lose my job, because the (let's imagine) 40 million € player would be left in the reserves. That's how upset I would be. And then the player would be upset with me, and I'd console him, and let him join me and a couple of the coaches/team members to some upscale ski resort (because that's the kind of manager I am), but he just wouldn't play... and I can imagine that if Abramović turned around and saw 40 million € disappear in the reserves, he wouldn't be very happy with the manager.

I would like to see player decisions in the match engine improved. Something that just happened to me was that my LB was off getting treatment, the other team has an attack up that side and almost scores. In this situation I would expect my LM to drop deep and for maybe one of my strikers to move to ML/AML.
