Tempted to give it a go. Give me reasons why I should play this. Should I play on the original database? Any essential updates?

Play FM05. Got the invincibles team
Though CM01/02 has the "10 years full cycle" factor. Arsenal sold a key player to Barcelona for £35M and spent the money on a fullback, a centreback, a midfielder and an attacker
. 10 years on and Arsenal sold Cesc to Barcelona for £35M and spent the money on Santos, Merteballsacker, Park and ......... TBC

Tried it a few hours ago. Couldn't get into it. It was difficult trying to play with such a simple interface considering my first FM was FM09.

i did about 60 seasons on this back in the day, remember Leeds where great, and so many excellent prospects were so cheap, Kim Kallstrom, Mido, Ibrahimovic, Kennedy Bakircuglu, mark kerr, there was loads of cheap talent. I only loaded England in that save so ended up just turning Everton into the greatest club ever (something like 35 league titles, 18 european cups, 20+ FA cups, world club championships etc etc). Got bored by 2050 so turned Tranmere into europes top club then Lincoln City. Had to start with prospects there though as the reputations were so bad i couldn't sign a big name until they had won the league a few times. Ahhh great times
