Right then, city have come in with a bid for Arteta which thanks to my crap finances (i sold a few and signed hazard, donovan and adam) Bill Kenwright has accepted the bid for Arteta, looking for a similar player to fill the void left to keep up my push for champions league football. The transfer hasnt gone through yet due to window being shut, but I need a replacement now before i run out of time.

Im Everton, its march 2011
I can spend upto £20-25m at a push, wages are no real issue but would like them to be around £80k tops as i also sold Yakubu and Heitinger so i got some big earners off the bill.

Help is greatly appreciated as I need someone to slot straight in, i would prefer a similar player to Arteta playing CM, AMC, AMR and must be a good passer.

Paulo Henrique as Crane said.

Dario Conca would be a good signing too, wouldnt cost more than £12M and has great stats.

Badelj signed for CSKA arse, he looked like the perfect replacement, Henrique is now being scouted

Conca looks a cracker, would only be second to Hazard when he comes and Arteta goes, plus his expected wage demands are not huge so bid is in, keep you guys posted. Could also do with a RB upto £10m with the money you guys have saved me

Besides these off the top of my head use the search function to find some players who have at least 16 in both Passing & Creativity. Job's a good'un.

Try doing a filter of Arteta and see what the FM search engine suggests?

In my Everton game, I replaced Arteta with Rodwell and Barkley. Rodwell played as a more Defensive Midfielder and Barkley ended up doing the attacking for him. You have Fellaini there as well. I suggest you use the money to improve other positions.

well i ended up signing lukaku and conca. Finished 3rd in first season with charlie adam averaging 7.58 and hibbert (?!) averaged 7.45. Got myself a nice transfer kitty which was instantly spent on neymar and samba so just need to offload bilyetedinov and a few other fringe players (beckford saha) to free up the wage budget a bit and i can concentrate on looking for some regens for the future especially in goal and wherever else i can find cheap. Conca plays AMC for me now with donovan on the right and lukaku/neymar up top, but thinking of switching to a 442 as my main formation for next season lined up like;
howard
hibbert jagielka (stopper) samba (cover) baines
fellaini adam (CM)
donovan/conca (RAM) hazard (LAM)
lukaku (target) neymar (poacher)
any thoughts?

also losing a few coaches out of contract so will replace them and hopefully a takeover will happen soon as there's rumours flying about
