This is a post from my "Pocket Rocket" thread of which will largely get ignored so I thought I'd post it here too. My thoughts were off-the-cuff and as I typed.

I just wanted to rave a little at the finances of this game FMH 11.

The reason for my rave is the simplicity of it all. In FM you know everything, how much wages cost, merchandise, the hat seller and the condom machines in the upper Men's toilets.

But is this information all needed?

FMH offers you a simple screen.

Surely you don't need to know any more than this?

It shows you the general financial state of the club, your budget for transfers, your wage budget, wage total and two other wage related topics.

Surely in real life Mr Chairman won't really reveal anymore than this?

I find it unrealistic that FM offers you the exact amount of money a club has along with exact income and expenditures per month. It's real for the game to have this information to hand but not show it.

Maybe one way to do this would be to have a simple screen such as this available to us managers. Then the option to ask Mr Chairman for more information could be within the board screens. This way, depending on the Chairman, he can offer you as little, much or even no new information to your request.

As long as you stick to your personal budgets, wage & transfer, then surely the chairman can't ask any more from you. It's then up to him, treasurers & board etc to work out how to make the club more money etc.

By doing this it will also add pressure onto the currently non-existent board to keep the club afloat and pressure can build on them within the in-game media if things aren't going too well.

End of mini-rant/idea for FM12/13
