Seriously, fuck this game. I swear it just stays up at night and think of ways to fuck me over. So many times over my two seasons at Gimnasia I've lost games I dominated, but this last one just takes the absolute piss.
I get into the promotion playoffs in the Argentinian Second Division where I face Union of the First Division. I dominate the first leg but still only manage to enter the last minute with a 1-0 lead. Then they get a free kick in a dangerous area, whip it in and one of my players scores an OG. Absolutely fucking typical that I get screwed over yet again.
The second leg was away, and I dominated them. More shots, more shots on target and we played exactly how I wanted us to. Went ahead after two minutes and I thought "we're gonna do it". They then get an equaliser out of nothing off a cross. Didn't matter though, we got a goal off a corner around the 60 minute mark.
Five minutes later they get a penalty, which I can only describe as laughable. Of course they score it and equalise. "Never mind" I think, "we're still ahead on away goals, and if they don't count, it'll be extra time".
How naive. Of course, since Argentinian football is so fucking full of shit, they decide that because Union are a higher seeded team, that they should win.
I'm seriously pissed off at this game at the minute, in case you can't tell.
