When my opponents go down to ten men, I hesitate. Dare I play more adventurous? Do I switch to a counter strategy? I normally tend to play more attacking, as with a man advantage, the opposition are bound to get tried and start making mistakes as we launch wave over wave of attacks. This would leave gaping gaps in our team if the balance isn't right which the opposition could easily exploit.
Or do I play a counter style, which is great in theory... Let them plough forward, we win the ball back, counter and score. This sounds great - but doesn't work all the time, not for me anyways.
On FM12, whenever I've got a man advantage, I've always noticed that the opposition play far far better. this has happened so much, that I now hate playing against teams with just 10 men. Here's an example:

We'd a two man advantage, yet could only win by scoring a late goal. I obviously made some tactic error, but it was really a shocking performance from my team.
What do yous do when your a man up?
