I wanna know if you guys do what I do with choosing a team and changing it during the match.

I pick the best team (except for cup matches against lower league opposition) from the players with 94% or higher condition, unless everyone is tired. If this means dropping star players and including youngsters on the bench, I will still do it. With substitutions, the most tired three players (first three to drop below 80% in the second half) come off for replacements that play in the same position, except in extreme circumstances like cup finals or if I have someone sent off.

However, recently I've been thinking that it would be more realistic to play my best team no matter what their condition, unless it is extremely low, and to only replace players that need replacing, for example if they are shattered, we have the game in the bag and a star player can be rested or if I need a goal and a tactical substitution is needed.

How do you guys do it?

Im similar to you, but I'm happy to rotate as my back up players usually always put in a brilliant performance.

Completely depends on situation with injuries and suspensions and how the season is going.

I generally put my strongest team possible out unless they are under 90%, regardless of competition.

Generally my back ups are only slightly worse than the first 11, but if I have a run of games without any injuries or suspensions, the back ups lose their match fitness and can't last a whole match when they are needed. If I want to manage more realistically, I would play my star player every time if we had three games in a week instead of playing him in two and not taking him in the matchday squad for the one in the middle.

I have this weird OCD where I like to only start players who have 100% condition. However most of the time that is unrealistic so I just play whoever has the highest condition. That allows me to rotate everyone fairly easily. With Subs, I only ever sub 2 players on just in case of an injury or red card late on. The two players who I sub on will usually be the players with the least condition

I run my team to the ground, 90% is good enough for me to start, and unless he drops below 60% I don't take him off. Motherfuckers gotta earn their money.

I used to always drop players with a condition less than 93%, now however if a player has a condition above 85% he'll play. I'll also play a player with 80%+ aslong as he's the only player on the pitch with a condition that low and aslong as he's a quality player.

I tend to rotate according to form a lot more now than what I used to. I'm now a lot more willing to drop big name players and bring back dropped players than I used to be.

I always chop and change my team at the beginning, regardless of the situation. Then when I get a feel for my team, I'm far more comfortable playing the same team as much as I can

Only start 90% and above.

Make a substitution when they hit 75% but save my last one for the 80th minute regardless.

For me, it depends on fitness, form and quality. I play players who are excel in this 3 things, no matter how big their reputation or how young he is.

I'd much rather (and do, usually) rotate based purely on player form but conditioning does come into it if it dips below 92-95%, depending on the importance of the player.

Again, I save my subs for players who aren't playing well, or those that are looking demotivated. I'll only really look at the condition of my players if it drops below 70-75%, or if I'm winning comfortably.

Play my best team whenever possible apart from lower league cup games. If a player has 90% condition I tend to rest them if I can. Tend to leave my best striker on if I need a goal even if he is playing shit. If I have the game won though I take off my best players to keep then fit and stop them from getting injured.

I usually know what subs I'm gonna make at the start of the game too, unless something goes drastically wrong in the game or I get an injury/ red card.

Generally I want my players to have 94% fitness or above. If I'm playing 2/3 games in a week, I'll rest players after the game for a couple of games (apart from Kuyt, he never needs a rest!).

I generally make one or two subs on the 60th minute mark, depending on condition, and the score. Another just after the 75th minute (so their rating doesn't count towards their average rating :p ).
