Time to get the ball rolling. The aim, to win the Champions League with these boys. The secondary aim, to bring young Germans through the ranks.

Lets be realistic here, with the quality of the squad, I would be disappointed if I wasn't good enough to qualify for Europe next season. A cup run would also suffice this season I believe

All well and good, except Adler is one of the best goalkeepers in Germany and is out for 5 months with knee tendonitis. Not good news at all, just means I am going to have to build a solid base to protect my backup goalkeeper and hopefully find the ability to be able to hit the back of the net regularly

That is my current first choice lineup, however I may revert to a 4-4-2 with Schürrle up top next to Derdiyok

No Kießling?

Not 100% sold on Kießling to be honest, I don't feel like he does enough for me to really justify me giving him a starting spot. Having said that, he will probably be a vital part of the rotation of the squad with the busy schedule we will face this year with Champions League matches midweek as well as German Cup matches

AC Milan

Straight shootout with Valencia for that second spot I would think.

In the league, we have only played 4 games thus far, 2 wins at home (6-1 and 4-1) and two losses on the road (3-0 and 2-1), fair to say I know where our problems lie and I think I'm going to have to develop a tactic that is well suited to us on the road.

Apologies for the recent lack of updates also, I have had continuous crash dumps recently meaning I haven't been able to progress past my first round German Cup tie, but hopefully those issues have been rectified and you can now begin to enjoy this wonderful story
