Hi guys, I'm a regular over at the dugout but this is my first post on fmfanboys, despite reading it since the early days of fm11. Managing a team like wigan, you cant afford to make a mistake in the transfer market. However, there are a lot of quality players in fm12 who wont break the bank, and as something of a wheeler- dealer i have a few who i can share with other lads on the forum.
Goalkeepers:
Heinz Muller- Mainz- 33 years old:
Heinz Muller is a German goalkeeper playing for mainz in the bundesliga. Initially valued at 1.8 Million, the 6 ft 4 german would probably cost more in the region of between 3 and 4 million, but dont let that put you off. He has high marks for handling, reflexes and jumping (16, 17 and 16 respectively) and from then on it's mostly consistent 13s, 14s and 15s across the board. However, his biggest weakness is his poor distribution, with only 8 for kicking and 11 for throwing.
Jukka Lehtovaara- TPS- 23 years old:
Plying his trade in the finnish league, Jukka has been on my radar since fm11. Remarkably consistent, he is only valued at 275k and will be available for less than a million. His biggest assets are his 14 for Aerial ability, 15 for Reflexes, 14 for one on ones and 13 for handling. His only weakness, if it can so be called, is his low eccentricity but i prefer a keeper with low eccentricity anyway as they tend to be more consistent. They beauty of a keeper from such a low league is that he will join most teams in the top 2 leagues in England and only wants low wages. I would say he is good enough to be number 1 for a mid to low prem team.
Luca Castelazzi- Inter- 35 years old:
An experienced shot stopper, Castelazzi has a low asking price, less than a million, but may be reluctant to join unless you are a big club. His biggest perks are his high marks for Handling and Reflexes. In truth, however, he is a well rounded player who doesnt have any real weaknesses and is good enough to be number 1 for a continental chasing mid table team.
Gabor Kiraly- 1860 Munchen- 35 years old:
The former crystal palace man, famous for wearing grey tracksuit bottoms instead of shorts, is another bargain keeper. Could be bough for around a million, maybe just over, he has high stats across the board and is good enough for lower to mid prem teams.
Silviu Lung Jr- Astra- 22 years old:
350k is not a lot for a tremendous prospect like this romanian starlet. He's 22, and has exceptional stats such as 16 one on ones and command of area, coupled with 15 reflexes & aerial ability. He could do a job for any prem side.
Lars Hirschfeld- Valarenga- 32 years old:
Number 1 material for most prem sides, not too old for a keeper and has a plethora of very good stats such as 16 agility. Is also dirt cheap.
Steve's bargains (or how i learned to stop spending over the odds and signed a gem)

Right Backs:
Zhivko Milanov- Vaslui- 27 years old:
For less than a million, this bulgarian international could cut a stern figure at right back for any mid table championship- mid table prem side. Every area of his game is good, other than his creativity, with a laughable rating of 4. Other than that, he has it in him to be a very solid defensive minded full back.
Andreas Hinkel- 28 years old:
One of the bargains of 2012, the former Stuttgart and Sevilla right back is willing to join poorish teams like wigan and will come in handy to shore up a leaking defence. Good going forward and equally at defending.
Stephen Kelly- Fulham- 28 years old:
transfer listed at the start of the game, he is considered backup to Baird and Grygera. Despite that, he comes with a certain pedigree, being an integral part of irelands defensive unit, and his stats reflect this, with high marks all round but especially defending.
Cornel Rapa- Otelul- 21 years old:
Why isnt this lad more popular? Look at those stats, then his asking price! His strength lies in his physical stats, although he is no technical slouch either. Awesome for peanuts.
Alexandru Matel- Astra- 21 years old:
For some reason, romania seem to be awesome on this game when it comes to young talent. Silviu Jung jr, cornel rapa and now this lad. A well rounded young right back, he has the potential to excel in the prem and become a leading prem right back. sign him up!

1 reply does not mean a "lack of interest". I for one checked some of these guys out, and I'm pretty sure a fair chunk of the other viewers would have too.
With a thread like this you're main replies are going to be "Player X just had an amazing season, thanks for the share". It's only been 4 days since the OP, coupled with the fact that these players won't be good enough for all the readers or even too good (i.e. won't sign), people's experience with these guys is going to be strictly limited.
Your call if you want to carry on though.

Centre Halves:
Roland Juhasz- Anderlecht- 28 years old:
This guy is a complete tank, with extremely high marks for heading, tackling and marking. he also has very high strength and good mentals, making him a fantastic signing for any side up to and including top four sides.
James Chester- Hull- 20 years old:
he would do a job for the lowest of prem sides at present, but given a few years practice i wouldnt be surprised to see him be a superb top flight centre half. high potential.
Nyron Nosworthy- Sunderland res.- 31 years old:
nyron has a fair bit of top flight experience and would be willing to move way from the stadium of light. as a cultured and experienced centre half, he would be an ideal "under 1 mil" signing to fix a leaky defence.
Sol Campbell- 36 years old:
very old, but might be an option for a lower side to come off the bench for the last 20 mins to hold on for a slender lead. wont want much in the way of wages either
Andrew Davies- Stoke res.- 26 years old:
Hes no puyol, but for not much money he will be willing to join any team within reason and will offer backup for mid table teams and first choice for championship or low prem teams.
Tom Lees- Leeds united- 20 years old:
very much in the mould of young james chester.

Left Backs:
Dean Lewington- MK Dons- 27 years old:
the son of fulham coach ray lewington, dean is a consistent left back with a lot of experience albeit mostly in league 1. hotly tipped to move to the prem irl, dean has been widely regarded as one of the best defenders outside of the prem and is sought after by many clubs. his value of 400k will need to be doubled or so for the dons to sell their best player, but he is an able player who would be at home as backup in the prem or first choice in the npower championship.
Scott Barron- Millwall- 26 years old:
More of a solid buy than a marquee signing, scott is a defensive minded fullback who could do a job for the qprs, norwiches and wigans of this world. he wont cost much, with a value of 220k at the beginning.
Salvatore Aronica- Napoli- 33 years old:
transfer listed at napoli, this experienced left back would slot right into a mid table prem defence, and is part of the reason my wigan side is currently 9th place. very solid in the tackle and reliable to have.
Petar Zanev- Litex- 26 years old:
prem quality, outstanding stats, and experience all for 85k. move quick, he wont hang around since clusb like trabzonspor are interested at first. if you are a prem side, you could do so much worse.
Paul Konchesky- Leicester- 30 years old:
ahhh, the days of having konch bombing up from left back is the stuff of fulham fan's dreams. he wont budge first season, but after that could be available.
