44 leagues from 22 of the smaller countries, and the aim is to win every Champions League possible.

I'm playing with LLM rules, so I will have Sunday League rep and I can only sign players who have been recommended by staff, who have to be found using the job centre. And because I'm playing on FM10, I won't have the advantages of Dynamic League Reputation and agents offering players. Also, I've never won any of the Champions Leagues in FM.

I can't take credit for the idea, I stole it off Skacel.

In the words of Kenan and Kel, here it goes.

Some facts:
- We are top of the Birinchi Liga (second division of Uzbekistan) after 15 out of 26 games
- We're predicted to come 4th
- There is no transfer window
- We're already out of the Uzbek Cup
- We're £140k in the red

First game, and we lose to our fellow promotion contenders. This better not be a recurring theme.

Funny you should say that:

So everything seemed OK...

The takeover was completed just before the Zarafshon match, nothing happened for 11 days and then I'm sacked. Fuck off Uzbekistan, fuck off NBU Osiyo and fuck off Tomislav Karadzic especially.

Could have at least loaded a couple of decent leagues! What've you got to aim for? You'll never win a UEFA CL with teams from those countries.

Out of interest, why no FM12 yet? I'd understand if it was because you didn't play FM enough to justify buying the new one, but you do! Is it purely because you're a cut-price cunt?

Three days later I get an offer, and now I'm back in management with an amateur side, earning nothing. They play in the Division One League Zone 1B, which is Ghana's second tier.

I would say that the quality of players is better here than in Uzbekistan, and I join with the whole pre-season ahead of me, because the season starts in late November.

Here it goes.

I wanted a challenge that I would never achieve, in other games I've got to the top and got bored when I got there. In this, I never get to the top and there is always something to aim for.

This post sums it up well.

As for not getting FM12, I didn't get into the demo and I know my way around FM10. But mainly you're right, I don't really see the need to spend £30 on an updated version.

Dynamic rep would be enough to convince me to at least play FM11 for a challenge of your magnitude. At least then you know that you can actually see results in your work because of that feature. What you're doing is downright impossible. I don't see the fun in that, but hey different strokes...

I prefer trying to get to the top rather than being at the top, but I can see why someone might prefer the opposite. I holidayed 20-odd years with some decent leagues (Iran, Nigeria, Angola) and it looked like it would be too easy to win a CL with a team from those countries, so I didn't load them.

My first game and it's a very good win. We're predicted to come 5th of 8 and they're predicted to come 1st. This gives me a lot of hope that maybe we can make a good challenge for promotion this season.

Like Uzbekistan, there isn't a transfer window so we can sign players at any time we want, but I've pretty much completed my transfer dealings so I'll post them now.

Posted Image

I only signed Adam, Turkson was signed before I joined. All the outs were players that I didn't think would be missed as they wouldn't get much game time so I let them go.

Posted Image

Backup CM pushing for a starting place, but my three starting CMs have played well so far which is why he has been left on the bench. I beat a number of other second division sides to him.

He's not going anywhere, he's my first choice striker.

Posted Image

I would welcome this, but only if they make the club turn professional. It's pretty likely that I wouldn't lose my job if they did buy the club.

He's starting to piss me off now, I'll only sell him if we get promoted.

Also signed a couple of players on frees:

Starting CB.

Backup LM.

Maybe a takeover by the fans wouldn't be so good. Plus their winning goal should have been disallowed.

Signed another two players on frees:

Posted Image

Starting CM.

Posted Image

Backup GK, one for the future.

I love the fact that you got sacked from that job so early. Like games like these.

I agree, failure makes the victory seem so much sweeter.

Posted Image

We don't have a bad financial situation, we have £50k in the bank, no loans and we pretty much break even every month.

Posted Image

There goes the possibility of turning professional, which is gonna bite us in the arse as I've had to renew some contracts and, in the process, make players on professional contracts become amateur.

I've made another signing though:

Posted Image

Backup GK for now but one for the future:

Posted Image

But before my penultimate match, this happened:

Posted Image

In the league, he had 4 assists and no goals in 8 (3) appearances, but his amateur contract meant that I did all I could do keep him, which wasn't much.

And after that match, the exodus begun.

Posted Image

LB that didn't fit into my formation but made 0 (3) appearances.

Posted Image

Starting CM that got 1 goal and 4 assists in 13 matches.

Posted Image

Starting RM that got 3 goals and no assists in 13 matches.

Posted Image

Starting CB that got 1 goal and 1 assist in 13 matches.

So I've lost three starters, but luckily Osei Boateng signed a new contract instead of moving.

My replacements are:

Posted Image

Backup CB.

Posted Image

Backup across the midfield.

Posted Image

Same as above.

Not ideal, but they will have to do.

This is the situation going into the last match:

Posted Image

Posted Image

A win guarantees that we qualify for the promotion playoff (top two do this), but it would have been a tough game even with the three starting players who left. Promotion this season is a must because we will only lose our best players if we stay amateur, and then we'll never be promoted.
