Some of my players and random players from Aston Villa in there, with numbers etc. Anyone explain this?

Can only presume they are part of the 3d graphics, yellow names = yellow card, red name = red card, white = normal.

Have you played with or against these players?

It acts as a temp folder too. I suspect these are just pre-generated textures for the match screen. Instead of creating an individual graphic each time it's needed, create 1 texture sheet pre-kick-off and use when needed. More efficient in calls & memory management. The game knows which players will have key highlights before a ball has even been kicked (as result & stats are pre-empted), so can generate them beforehand.

It's a mix of my squad list and the Aston Villa squad list, and I played them in pre-season.

Only seen it today (may have appeared when I tried to screenshot the licencing screen as the game loads up with the Alt + F9 shortcut)

It only happens when you use 3D as well. I never used 3D and never had this, but switched to 3D to see if it could grow on me (it didn't), and I saw this.

Don't think it does. I've never used 3D. Use 2D Classic and I don't even use that every match.

It looks like it's a standard template for the 2D match engine to me. With your players names etc
