I have decided to start a new game and manage my local side Crystal Palace, Who play in the npower championship. I will try update my story as much as possible so please be patient.

First Season: I hope to build a bigger squad and finish at least mid-table. Try my best in the Carling and F.A Cup, A good cup run is what im after.

Having one of the smallest squads in the league i am looking to bring in players to add quality to what i already have. Free transfers & Loans will be key for me and my first season with Palace. I will look to offload players i feel are not good enough and who are not in my plans.

Sorry its been a while! Been really busy with college work and work, also i waited for the update but im back and away we go ....

Really happy with my transfers, i searched hi and low and everywhere !! When on a tight budget you have to try and find bargains in the minor countries and i believe ive found some in: Erasmus, Jali should a gem! Leo is a young hot prospect from Brazil, Rivierez is good enough for this league and was a steal. Felix Klaus is the one i will say watch out for from my first season he rejected a dutch club to join the mighty Eagles. Matteo Ferrari should add experience and quality to the team. Mario Garcia will certainly be my bargain of the season. Bringing in J.Robinson for cover to Parr and Garcia but good enough to play the lower sides, Felt i was missing an attacking midfielder so i loaned in Buzsaky from QPR and Livermore from spurs. Obviously youngsters such as Cadogan, Williams and O'Keefe have gone out on loan to get first team football, sold Murray after signing three strikers great profit made on him, owen garvan wasnt going to get into my squad so i sold him on. Pedroza has gone out on loan back to Mexico.

4-0 smashing was due to McShane being sent off in the tenth minute! Other then that a good pre-season and great result against Norwich City, York left to play.

Thanks Adam. Yeah i loved managing palace and there the only team i can be on FM otherwise i get bored to easy. Looking forward to this game got some decent players in, First season top 10 i'll be happy then following season play offs.

After selling and letting some players move on loan i felt i needed to add to the squad and so i signed Marco Verratti who is a quality up and coming midfielder, I am keeping a very close eye on a striker who starts out on loan in the first season and will be key for next season if i can sign him but i believe i have got a quality squad for my first season. I should finish top 8 i believe, Russell should be up their at the end of the season with top goalscorer so i have high hopes for him. Going to be a long season so i will rotate my squad as much as possible this will either work or back fire, also i will use only two tactis so i basically play as " The players have to get used to how i want them to play rather them play the way they want to".

16 new faces bought in and i believe i couldnt of got a better Palace squad, I'm predicted to finish in the bottom half but my aim is top eight. Klaus, Erasmus are gamble buys but i hope they do well and prove me right that i should of signed them.

Yeah sure no problem, will upload tonight. i searched high and low to find players to bring in and the left back i got from Mexico was a fantastic find!

Ten game remaining and we've started to slip up and i think i will finish in the play-offs and struggle! Against Birmingham we didnt even have one shot on goal! We need to pull together and make sure we finish in the top 6! we've been top all season so to see us struggle and slip out of promotion will be gutting. I have added Wilder Medina to the squad signed on a free, 1 year contract.

Gutted!! I just can't put into words what happened at the end of the season but none of my players seemed to put a good performance in, could this be because ive set a medium pay out and they think they have achieved a good enough finish? We should have finish in the top two but the play offs it was and so we had Hull City, who we just lost to at home. Was i confident no i wasn't, i just thought that was it another season in the championship unless the QPR Job become avaiable i would of applied, The chairman had to pay £4 Million debt and so were in the red and i just thought what is going on! I was expecting to lose in the play offs and consider my future in the summer .....

Hull City Vs Crystal Palace - Play Off 1st Leg

What a great start! 29 Seconds and Griffiths scored from good play from kick off.

Great start to the play offs and to win away was unexpected! Roll on the 2nd leg at Selhurst.

Verratti showed his class and put a great shift in to send us to Wembley! Finally we played like we had all season free flowing football - Leicester City in the final.

i've got to play Hull again last game of the season and then do the play offs again Just my luck! Hope i reach the final again! This could mean i could come second if Ipswich lose to Watford ( unlikely ) or its out of a couple of teams for that last play off place.
