Jamie's Journey - Rise To The Top

Hello and welcome to my Journey on FM2012! I will be starting Unemployed in England only. Eventually when i gain some more rep i will then add some more league. This FM will go to about 2040! I'll play this in my spare time when I'm not doing my network game I'm currently hooked on. My rep is currently "Sunday League Footballer"

Today Jamie King became the manager of struggling Boston United on the 9th of October 2011. Boston United are currently bottom on the Blue Square North and they've appointed a unknown manager, what's the future look like for Boston? We caught up with manager Jamie King to ask him a few questions. Our Sky Sports reporter Alex McCarthy was asking the questions.

Well what can i say? Probably the hardest FM I've done so far. I've had to join Boston who was bottom of the league all the morale was abysmal and they had about 13 players who's contracts was out so I've had to muddle it all around between games bringing new players in so it's been very, very difficult. I'm not a quitter even if i get relegated i will go until the end!

Well fuck me. What a shite month. It's January now so going to have to see if i can bring anyone in, i don't care if i get in debt for releasing players, they all deserved to be released!!! I'm not giving up though.

Really happy with this month! Managed to get through to the FA Trophy aswell as a fantastic last 3 games. Corby was 2-0 up and managed to win 3-2! The only problem I've got now is the squads quite small and the fitness is becoming a issue.

Fantastic month! Don't know how i managed a 8-0 win i really don't. I'm closing the gap on the relegation spots aswell which is good. All it took was a few experienced players. My aim now is to just finish as high as possible to avoid me getting sacked.

The best month of the season for me here, some fantastic results. Theres
5 games left and I'm 10 points away from the play-offs. Would be the best season I've ever had if i manage to make the play-offs.

From bottom of the league in January to ALMOST getting into the play offs is a massive achievement really.

King Accepts Boston Contract




Today manager Jamie King accepted a new deal with Boston United which will see him at the club until June 2013. Chairman David Newton is delighted that King as accepted the contract. Newton also added "King did a fantastic job from January onwards, if only we had him here at the start of the season we could of got promoted"

We caught up with Jamie King find out the reason he's agreed to a new contract and what his ambitions are for next season. "I think next season we can push for the top spot depending on what wage budget I'm aloud, I've managed to bring in some good players in the January period but a few more is needed to attempt a push for promotion"
