The tactic needs no introduction, nor does the country. (The manager might do though....)

Haven't downloaded any custom leagues, so they're all the default South American countries. Think I've only taken off 1 maybe 2 divisions.

This is what I'm up against for the next 829 days according to the fixture list (this years below). Pretty confident of qualifying, even with the tactic.

They'll call me 'El Jefe' by the time I'm done here.

Piss poor. In control most of the game but failed to take any chances.

Several players who were in contention for the friendly squad were out through injury (Messi, Lavezzi, Zarate, Riquelme, Saviola, Heinze, Piatti, Salvio, Cavenaghi, Biglia, Crespo, Ustari & Insua) to name just a few.

No consolation though. Need to smash the teams in competitive matches now.

A win is a win I suppose. But in a friendly like this, you look for a performance, can't say I really got one. Finishing, as per, is poor.

May be different if I stick Messi in that AMC role, but makes the central midfield triangle an absolute headache. I'll have to figure something out when I have a fully fit squad but Aguero, Gaitain and Lamela don't seem to be doing the business in front of goal!

Ladies and Gentlemen, allow me to present to you 'The Lionel Messi show....'.

After his first, we took control, so I have him a free role practically. Then moved him onto the right win late on so I could bring Aguero on in AM C, who did pretty poor again. We gave up late on and let Ecuador come at us a bit, but they did no harm. Just happy to start with a convincing win.

Next up, Venezuela in 4 days time. They've just come off the back of a 2-1 defeat to Colombia.

Tevez and Aguero can't play wide.

Tried it with Obafemi Martins when I was with Nigeria and it didn't play out too well.

Not ideal. Due to Zabaleta's injury and no full backs on the bench, I had to make 2 subs and a change to the formation. Then Mascherano picked up a knock and couldnt play on , so all my subs were used before half time which was frustrating.

Again we failed to take chances, Messi was wasting a couple of shots from distance. Overall, not great, but Colombia are the only side to win their opening two games, so confidence hasn't taken too much of a knock.

That's where you need the arrows, their runs inward would be vital and they'd kick ass

Best I could do is Inside Forwards, but they'l still be uncomfortable in their positions. I could slyly take overshitty and re-train them as wingers, but really not worth it imo.

Finally a solid team performance and a good 3 points. Messi bagging another, going to push him for 100 international goals.
