Hope someone who has managed in the MLS could say if this has happened to them? I offered a player out, got offers, negotiated the offer so I would receive two players in direct swap for just one of mine. The other team accepted and normally the deal was finalised the next day. But the deal was never completed and whenever I checked in 'transfer centre' it said 'contract'. This is stupid because I'm pretty sure the player stays on the contract he was on at his old club so there was no contract to offer. I never got the news item 'Confirm deal' so the deadline passed and the deal was never completed. I was pretty pissed off as I desperately needed these players haha. Anyone else had this and resolved it somehow ?
Bug?

Did the wages, international spots and all the rest of it match up?
Have a gander on the MLS rules page, you may be overlooking something.

Yep. Salary under cap, both players were domestic. It was all ready to be signed off but was stuck at 'contract stage' even though there is no contract to offer.
