Its possible. But it will take decades to get the MLS where you want it to be. I'd work more on becoming THE club in North America.

How would I raise the star level though? Would it just be regularly winning the NACL? Or doing well in the club world championships against clubs from other continents?

A mix of doing yourself well in high rep competitions such as the NACL and the CWC and having some high profile players on your books.

For South America it can be good, but in Asia I'd say load one of Australia, South Korea or China. Just to give yourself something to work towards.

I'd chuck in one European country, just so you can snap back from reality to stop yourself getting bored years in. I'm contemplating leaving Juventus after just 1 season despite completely turning them round.

Actually I don't think I'll load any of the smaller Asian leagues, firstly I'd struggle with the names and the quality of the players is going to be shocking. I'm just worried that the Brazilian and Argentinian sides won't be as strong if I don't load those leagues.

Holland will be the biggest, I want it to be a massive challenge to win the Champions League.

Oh they'll be strong. I didn't load Argentina last year and they fucking dominated the Copa Lib. Argentine clubs won it 99% of the time, no lie.

Fuck it, I want a challenge, and winning the Copa Libertadores with a team outside of Brazil and Argentina is a challenge. In my Tavria game, since LDU Quito won it in 2008, no team outside of Brazil, Argentina or Mexico has even made the final, and I'm in 2033.

Are there any smaller European leagues that are a laugh? So far I've got Israel, Switzerland and Austria but I want another one.

Ukraine and Holland were gonna be loaded already, but Czech Republic sounds good so that's in as well. Greece gets pretty crazy as well, especially at the end of the season.

Switzerland was a good game for me on 2011, however, it took me 4 season or so to get into the CL due to the strength of Young Boys and Basel, and once I got to the CL it was an absolute ballache, however, it's a fun league to manage in.

Last year Switzerland and Israel appealed a lot to me but I never really gave either a run. I was appealed to Israel because of John Gregory and appealed to Switzerland because I've never really managed there and working my way up to the Basle job was a challenge I fancied.
