Hazard is overrated and overpriced, I bet Newcastle sign someone who plays better and costs less.

Swapped Sagna as I didn't know he had a broken leg and now have Hummels. Noticed the players they give you aren't done very well. EG. you can still select Rio.

Obviously no manager that is doing well in the EPL is going to go SPL....

Dont see why you are saying that when I never said he would?

If United, Arsenal, City or Chelsea came calling for him he would go. But not Liverpool. Im just saying it shows how times have changed and Liverpool arent as big of a pull for managers now.

I disagree. I think he's just happy at the club atm and doesn't want to go to any other club. I wouldn't leave either if I was in he's position. He's had a great first season and is a hero at the club. Why leave now when there is so much more for him to achieve at Swansea.

I like that we aren't just jumping in and signing the first manager we think of, it's a good sign that thought is actually being put into the decision. Not surprised Rogers rejected the approach, he's got a good thing going with Swansea and there is more to come from them under him.

Just looking around the internet and I'm disappointed by how many fans don't want Martinez. 8th isn't good enough for a team like Liverpool but the fact is we aren't good enough atm and we're not going to attract the best managers in the world, they aren't taking into consideration the players Martinez has had at Wigan and how he has got some of them performing like they have. They see Wigan struggle all season and automatically establish that as him being an awful manager. For me he is the sort of manager we want to attract, a young manager with a bright future who plays positive football, I don't see how people think Benitez is a better option than Martinez.
